What is so wrong with the picture? where does it say that you must wear a t-shirt and shorts while you are playing basketball or any other sports for that matter.
Does the hijab and abaya indicate that these girls should be on the sidelines watching only.
The last time I checked the head cover was for "seter" not for restriction and limitation. In the end they are human beings and just want to have fun like any other person.
Illusion...the whole point of them wearing this is that they don't want to draw attention to the form or shape of their bodies or to themselves. I'm sure we can all agree though that if we were walking down the street this court was on, they'd sure as hell be getting our attention. Besides, my original comment was just for humor's sake. Take it easy bud.
I wasnt being offensive. I was just sharing my opinion.
By the way if you look at the picture very well you will see that they are fenced in and it doesn't seem anyone can see them from outside. Looks like an inside job to me :)
illusion-but yet they take a picture and display it on the internet!
I can give you a million reasons why it sure is wrong islamically for a girl to be jumping up and down and all around on a court... + something so miniscule like iltashaboh bilgharb, why do they use it against others, islam is not just a look it is ones actions as well :)
I know what they say and it does fusterate me as well, however my point here was these girls seemed like that they were having a good time and there is nothing wrong with that even if they are wearing the hijab and abaya.
And i am sure these girls were not the ones that came up with the crazy idea of tishabah bel gharab so why be quick to judge them

I am sure this the slowest basketball game ever.. can women run wearing 3abat?
no they fly.
I dunno...i think its cute to see them playing b-ball....although I cant see them running up and down the court with those 3abayas.
There's just something wrong with this picture.

I applaude them for enjoying life
